STATEMENT OF CORPORATE MISSION

At TL Express we are dedicated to serving the transportation and logistical needs of our customers in the most effective, safe, and technologically efficient manner. We are dedicated to redefining the "point of no return" and articulating a philosophy of safety and service.

TL Express pledges to achieve this mission and share the achievement with our customers as partners in establishing us as industry leaders in innovation and excellence.

TL Express is an innovative trucking company located in greater Cleveland, Ohio. The "TL" in TL Express is short for, "Triple Ladies". The three ladies are the company’s principal owners and operators, Heather Carlton, Linda Carlton, and Gloria Vechery.

Although TL Express specializes in flatbed shipping, we offer a wide variety of equipment and services to our customers. With over 200 trucks and trailers in our fleet, we are ready to move your freight. TL Express keeps in contact with its trucks through a satellite system that allows dispatchers to communicate with and track trucks as they move across town or across country and for the most up-to-date information regarding your shipment and where the closest driver is to your pick-up point.

The flatbed division of TL Express handles both truckload and LTL shipments. All trailers have tarps, straps, and chains. Step-deck trailers, trailers with sides, and our very own coil protectors which we have a patent on are also available.

Next day and second day Van service is available to the New England states and three to five working day service is available to the west coast. We also haul over-dimensional loads to the contiguous 48 states and the provinces of Canada.

TL Express views safety as a primary responsibility of our business. With this in mind, TL Express only hires experienced drivers. All drivers then go through hazardous materials training and testing. To encourage safety among our drivers, we have a safety awards program for both company drivers and owner operators. This program awards bonuses on a quarterly basis to drivers with good records that attend our safety meetings.

TL Express also has a government division located in Cleveland and can handle all your military and government shipping needs.

For those customers that require short or long term storage of their freight, TL Express offers warehouses in Cleveland, Columbus and Baltimore. Our Cleveland and Baltimore facilities also have the capacity to load and unload overseas containers. This allows us to deliver your shipment directly from the pier, or reduce your container shipment costs by eliminating the empty container return.
