Today’s trucking industry has reached a "point of no return", a point where the question, "what do we have to do to survive," is asked every day. The combined effects of deregulation and increased operating expenses have closed the doors of many trucking companies--companies that served the industry for decades and others that just started.d.

Many in our industry have failed to evolve, for others the very basis of business philosophy has become one of survival and placation. By doing this we have deflated our value and contributed to the unstable market in which we compete.

There must be patience and respect in our industry between management and contractors—One that serves the common goal of profit through safety. We all want to share in the dream of a quality life for our selves, our families, and our communities.
